JOB PURPOSE



To provide exceptional customer service and a friendly, professional welcome into NCG for all people. Ensure everyone is safe and all inquiries, whether via phone, email or face-to-face, are dealt with in an appropriate and professional manner.

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP



The Student Support Assistant reports to the Student Support Manager and is considered part of the Student Support Team (incl. Compliance, Admissions and Accommodation).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



- Ensure the health and safety of everyone entering the college.

- Greet and welcome visitors and provide with refreshments

- Answer all incoming calls, directing them through the company and taking messages

- Providing information and answering queries from walk-in students

- Prepare relevant posters & updates for around NCG

- Enrolling each student in college, making sure all appropriate documents and information is up to date.

- Inputting & updating student data on CRM system

- Monitoring resources borrowed from the Learning Resource Centre, chasing missing resources

- Assisting with general administration duties

- Posting current events and photographs on social media

- Arranging, organising, ensuring the safety of and advertising Social Activities each week

- Reporting any maintenance to relevant departments

- Complying with UKVI requirements

- Assisting students with general enquiries

- To participate in all mandatory training for Health and Safety and Safeguarding, as advised by the College policy and through instruction of the appropriate line manager

- To comply with the induction process required either as a new member of staff or directly conducting induction training as per status (i.e. department heads and senior managers will directly lead, design and deliver training)

- Support other colleagues in their induction and encourage engagement

Experience in the industry or in a similar administrative and customer-facing role are highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,500.00 per year
