Student Transformation Facilitator (cricket Based) London & South East England

Canterbury, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

" NEW: No video required upfront! Simple email application - just your CV and 3 quick questions."Student Transformation Facilitator (Cricket-Based)

Help International Students Discover Their Potential | 15-30/hour | Flexible Part-TimeWhat We Actually Do

We create the experiences international students talk about for years. The moment a shy French girl who wouldn't make eye contact becomes the loudest cheerleader. When a German boy afraid of failing hits his first ball and discovers newfound confidence. When language barriers disappear and strangers become friends.

This isn't about teaching perfect cricket technique. It's about transformation.

Teachers consistently tell us our sessions are the highlight of their entire UK trip - not because we're excellent cricket coaches (though we are), but because we create the space where students surprise themselves.

The Role in 60 Seconds

Your Job:

Lead 2-hour cricket-based experiences for international student groups (ages 10-18)

The Goal:

Create breakthrough moments where students discover confidence they didn't know they had

The Setting:

Parks and sports facilities across South East England

The Pay:

15-25/hour (experience-dependent) + travel expenses

The Schedule:

Flexible - you choose your availability (weekdays/weekends)

The Impact:

Students leave transformed, teachers call it the trip highlight

Who We're Looking For? You're Perfect for This If:

You care more about confidence than cricket skills

Your favourite moments are watching someone achieve something they thought was impossible You naturally celebrate effort over perfection You understand that fun and engagement beat technical accuracy every time

You have high emotional intelligence

You can read a room and adjust your energy instantly You notice the quiet student at the back and know how to bring them in You create psychological safety where it's okay to fail and try again

You're culturally sensitive and inclusive

You love working with diverse international groups Language barriers don't faze you - you communicate through energy and action You make everyone feel welcome, regardless of background or ability

You bring incredible energy

You're enthusiastic and infectious You can keep 30 teenagers engaged for 2 hours straight Your positive attitude is contagious

You think on your feet

No two sessions are the same - you adapt constantly When something isn't working, you pivot immediately You see challenges as opportunities
What You'll Actually DoYour Typical Session:

Before:

Students arrive nervous, some reluctant, forming cliques by nationality

During (2 hours):

You create magic

Break down barriers through energetic warm-ups Build confidence through achievable challenges Celebrate every win (especially the small ones) Create moments where students shock themselves Foster connections across language barriers Make cricket feel accessible and fun

After:

Students leave buzzing with pride, new friendships formed, stories to share

You'll work with groups of 15-25 international students from Spain, Italy, France, Germany and beyond. They've never played cricket. They might be nervous. Some won't speak much English.

Your job is to help them discover they're capable of more than they imagined.

FAQs

Q: I don't know much about cricket. Can I still apply?

A: YES! If you have the right mindset and people skills, we'll teach you everything you need to know about cricket. We've trained facilitators who'd never played before.

Q: I'm a student. Does this work around my schedule?

A: Absolutely. Many of our facilitators are students. You choose which sessions you're available for.

Q: What if English isn't my first language?

A: That can actually be an advantage! Many of our students don't speak English fluently either. If you can communicate enthusiasm and energy, you'll be great.

Q: Do I need coaching qualifications?

A: Nice to have, but not essential. We provide full training. Your attitude and approach matter more than certificates.

Q: What's the earning potential?

A: Depends on your availability. If you do 2-3 sessions per week at 25/hour for 2-3 hours each, that's 100-225 per week. More available during peak season (March-October).

Q: Is this a long-term role?

A: It can be! Some facilitators work with us for years. Others use it as flexible work around other commitments. Both are fine.

Q: Why don't you require a video upfront?

A: We want to hear your story first. If there's mutual interest after our phone chat, we'll ask for a video so we can see your energy and presence. This way you don't waste time making a video if it's not the right fit.

Our Mission

We're not teaching cricket. We're creating fearless young people.

If that excites you, we want to hear from you.
