About the role





This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) inclusive of a day a week to go to college and no out-of-hours or bank holiday shifts, so you can focus on your learning and well-being. We're a Vets Now host practice, so each nurse has just two possible overtime shifts per month for emergencies, if needed.

About the practice





You'll be part of a large, welcoming team in an RCVS-accredited small animal hospital with Gold Cat Friendly and Silver Rabbit Friendly status. Our facilities include a separate cat-only area, exotics ward, and advanced diagnostics (CT, ultrasound, endoscopy).

Our supportive team includes:





9 vets (including 1 new grad and highly experienced clinicians) 10 qualified RVNs (with over 200 years' experience between them) 3 student nurses and 4 ANAs Vets who are certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Endoscopy, and Zoological Medicine Visiting specialists in Orthopaedics, Neurology, Soft Tissue, and Diagnostic Imaging

Currently enrolled in a Level 3 Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing, or Planning to start one of these qualifications soon and seeking the right training practice Passionate about animal welfare and providing excellent patient care Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a hands-on clinical environment Team player who enjoy working collaboratively and supporting others Positive in attitude with a strong desire to grow within a supportive hospital team

Your shift pattern





This is a full-time role covering a variety of shifts over 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota. Overtime is paid for weekend work.
