Studio Assistant (admin & Creative Projects)

We are a small, established Garden Design practice creating beautiful, sustainable gardens that connect people to nature. Our projects blend creative vision with practical expertise, and we work closely with clients to design spaces that thrive. Operating out of two studios in Hythe Kent and Brighton Sussex. We are an artistic team with a passion for design and plants.
We're now looking for a Studio Assistant to join our small, passionate team in Hythe Kent - someone who can keep the studio organised, support the creative team, and work directly with the team to help bring new projects to life.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in:
Studio administration: answering emails, scheduling meetings, filing, ordering supplies.
Creative team support: preparing mood boards, sourcing materials, researching plants, and helping with design documentation.
Project coordination: tracking project progress, liaising with clients and suppliers, and keeping timelines updated.
Marketing assistance: helping with social media posts, website updates, and newsletters/blogs (training can be provided).
Site Survey assistance : Assisting with site survey, measuring and documenting.
Planting: We get our hands dirty and plant our gardens, so enjoyment of the outdoors is essential.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Are organised and detail-focused, with good time management skills.
Are confident using Adobe creative suite, social media sites, google workspace.
Have excellent written and maths skills (for site measuring).
Enjoy working in a creative environment and are happy to turn your hand to a variety of tasks.
Have a proactive, can-do attitude and enjoy solving problems.
Experience in garden design, landscaping, or a creative industry is a bonus - but not essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12,500.00-14,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
