Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Studio Typesetter - 6724 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and laying out text and images for a variety of print and digital publications. You will work closely with designers, editors, and project managers to ensure all materials meet our high standards for quality, consistency, and style. Your day-to-day duties will include typesetting manuscripts, correcting typographical errors, applying style guides, and ensuring documents are ready for final production or publication. You will also be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain excellent records of all versions and changes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in typesetting or desktop publishing, as well as a keen eye for detail and design. Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and color management is required. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to follow complex instructions, and strong communication skills are a must. A degree or certification in graphic design, publishing, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
