About the role



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Study Programme Manager to lead the design, delivery, and management of our comprehensive study programmes for 16-19 year olds primarily in Kent and Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality educational experiences that meet learner needs and industry standards while driving excellent outcomes and progression rates.

We are looking for a successful applicant to have a degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience, alongside a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Alongside this, a thorough understanding of post-16 education sector and knowledge and understanding of study programmes or skills training programmes/funding methodologies and compliance requirements/quality assurance frameworks and Ofsted requirements, are essential to the role.

What you'll be doing



Programme Management



Develop, implement and manage study programmes in line with funding requirements and regulatory standards Monitor programme performance, learner progress and achievement rates Ensure compliance with awarding organisation requirements and quality standards Lead programme reviews and implement continuous improvement strategies Manage programme budgets and resources effectively

Learner Support & Development



Oversee learner recruitment, induction and retention processes Ensure appropriate initial assessment and diagnostic testing procedures Monitor learner progress and coordinate intervention strategies Manage learner disciplinary processes and welfare concerns, including liaising with the DSL if required Coordinate with external support agencies for learners with additional needs, including those with High Needs

Staff Leadership & Development



Line manage teaching and support staff within the programme area Conduct performance management, appraisals and professional development planning Coordinate staff training and CPD activities Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment Recruit and select programme staff as required

Stakeholder Engagement



Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry partners and community organisations Liaise with awarding organisations, funding agencies and regulatory bodies Represent the organisation at external meetings and events Develop partnerships to enhance learner opportunities and programme relevance

Quality Assurance & Compliance



Ensure all programmes meet Ofsted requirements, DfE Conditions of Funding and JGA quality standards Work with the Lead IQA and Curriculum developers to ensure course content is up to date, relevant and reflects learner feedback Implement agreed internal quality assurance processes and reviews Prepare for and manage external inspections and audits Maintain accurate records and data management systems Implement safeguarding policies and procedures

What We're Looking For



The successful candidate will have worked in a management role for a minimum of 3 years in an educational setting. They will have a proven track record of programme development and delivery and experience of staff line management and development alongside working with diverse learner groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
