Job Description

Capital Electrical UK & Ireland Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified and experienced electrician to subcontract with us for ongoing shopfitting projects.

250 per day (10 hours on site) + accommodation (AirBnB or hotel), 0.30 per mile, 20 overnight expenses for each night staying away, weekly pay.

Following 2 trial weeks, rate increases to 300 per day (10 hours on site) + accommodation, 0.30 per mile, 20 overnight expenses for each night staying away, weekly pay.

References/ evidence of previous projects required.

Work throughout the U.K.

Own van, insurances, hand tools and power tools required.

Our offices are in North Yorkshire however our work is throughout the country with occasional working away, for which accommodation, mileage and food allowance is provided.

In return, we ask for

minimum NVQ Level 3 qualified (Electrical Installation) City and Guilds 18th Edition experience of commercial/contsinment/shopfitting (5+ years) experience of single-phase and three-phase systems ability to confidently read drawings and schematics hard working and able to use initiative Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent (preferred) a valid ECS card a full UK driving licence, own vehicle and insurance public liability insurance and employers liability (where necessary) willingness to work away on a regular basis (accommodation and food allowance provided)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- fully qualified electrician

-public liability insurance
- Valid ECS card

-minimum of 5 years experience with commercial/containment/shopfitting
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting
