The Role



Here at Fortem we're currently recruiting for a Subcontractor Coordinator for a contract covering the west of Kent. This role will provide support to core workstreams and coordinate the completion of key tasks that allow for smooth operational running of the branch.

The Company



Fortem Solutions are a nationwide business specialising in the Social Housing sector. We provide Repairs & Maintenance, Retrofit, Capital Works and Decarbonisation workstreams within Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Duties & Responsibilities



o Ensure all records relating to any subcontractors are kept up to date. o Raising of subcontractor purchase orders in line with agreed SLAs o Ensure Sub Contractor reviews and any associated meetings are organised o Coordination of customer complaints involving Sub-Contractors - ensuring that a satisfactory response is returned to client within SLA o Assist with Resource Planning and shortfall with support from External Resource. o Provide Service Efficiency and Deliverables to the benefit of the contract, maintaining stakeholder relationships (Internal and External). o Ensure 100% adherence of all tasks relating to the Sub Contractors and Scaffolding. o Support workstreams with adhoc tasks that require administrative support. o Portion of Post inspections for Sub Contractor related works, with support from Operations Team. o Co-Ordinate Supervisors to provide WIP/Adhoc/H&S Data Compliance on SCP o Co-Ordinate Supervisors for On-Site Post Inspections for Sub-Contractors

What You Will Need



Essential o Enjoys evaluating, probing, investigating and challenging information - working in an innovative way. o Experience in managing a challenging workload whilst maintaining high standards. o High level of IT literacy and data handling skills -excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook mail merge. o Experience in a responsive service delivery environment o Understanding of health and safety policies and importance of record keeping for compliance purposes. Desirable o Repair and maintenance background in a housing environment o Good level of Health and Safety awareness or a H&S qualification such as IOSH.
