Subcontractor Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Subcontractor to join our team as Painter and Decorator. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking specialised tasks within construction projects, primarily focusing on painting and related activities.

Duties

Carry out construction painting tasks according to project specifications and safety guidelines Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required before painting Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensure the work area is kept clean and organised throughout the project Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding progress and any issues encountered Operate vehicles such as vans or lorries to transport equipment and materials to different sites Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is highly desirable Valid driving licence Good command of English language for effective communication on-site Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and site supervisors Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines and quality standards

Candidates must be registered under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Starting wage 180 deepening on experience.
