Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and reliable Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team working in the Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various technical skills related to heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We also have positions available for NVQ level 2 Plumbing and Heating Engineers who wish to progress to level 3.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties. Utilise welding techniques for the assembly of heating components. Employ hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Conduct plumbing work as needed to ensure proper installation and functionality of heating systems. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues within heating systems. Execute heavy lifting tasks associated with the movement of equipment and materials. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs. Drive commercial vehicles as required to transport tools and equipment to job sites.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex heating systems. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations related to installations. Familiarity with assembly processes for heating components is advantageous. A valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transporting equipment when necessary.
