We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join the Substance Misuse team at HMP Kirkham, a Category D open prison for males, located near Preston, Lancashire.
HMP Kirkham is a unique environment, with stunning grounds and lots to offer both staff and patients, including our brand new, state of the art gym.

Hours:
This is a part time role, working 22.5 hours per week. Shifts are between 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. We can be flexible on shift patterns and will discuss at screening and interview stage.
Salary:
This position is part time , you'll receive an annual salary of up to 29,723 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
Be the face of the team - acting as the first point of contact for patients
Be visible onsite, getting to know patients and identifying areas for improvement, issues etc
Assist with support groups and assessments - groups include psychosocial, CBT, art workshops and meditation
Data inputting - ensuring that patient records are accurate and up to date
Work alongside the Nursing Associate and Patient Engagement Lead
