Stock and Inventory Manager

Their responsibilities revolve around managing inventory levels, reducing waste, and making sure ingredients and supplies are available to meet customer demand without overstocking.
Responsibilities
The
Stock and Inventory Manager
is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring product availability to support smooth day-to-day operations. This position plays a key role in cost control, food safety, and overall store efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of all food items and supplies
Place regular orders with approved Subway vendors based on usage and forecasted needs
Receive, inspect, and properly store deliveries
Implement and oversee FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures to minimize waste
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Track food waste and implement waste-reduction strategies
Ensure compliance with Subway standards and local food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas (coolers, freezers, dry storage)
Prepare regular inventory and waste reports for management
Collaborate with the store manager and kitchen staff to forecast inventory needs
Train and support staff on inventory handling procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience in inventory, stock management, or food service preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Basic math and analytical abilities
Familiarity with inventory software and POS systems (Subway experience is a plus)
Attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs), and stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in analyzing sales and inventory reports.
Knowledge of marketing initiatives and implementing POP materials.
Experience in inventory management and stock control.
Ability to manage Stocks, Inventory, schedules and employee training.

Pay: 31,000.00-40,000.00 per year
