Job Description

A Subway Team Leader, is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality during their shift. Key duties include coaching team members, handling customer complaints, managing inventory, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting restaurant profitability by driving sales and controlling costs. This leadership role requires strong customer service, motivational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Coaching, training, guiding, and motivating the team to ensure high performance and a positive work environment. Arranging cover when needed.

Operational Management:

Overseeing day-to-day operations, including food preparation, inventory, cleanliness, and ensuring smooth running of the store.

Customer Service:

Delivering an exceptional customer experience, handling complaints effectively, and maintaining the restaurant's reputation.

Quality & Safety:

Ensuring all products meet high-quality standards and enforcing all safety and food hygiene procedures.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitoring staff performance, coordinating breaks, and working with managers to achieve restaurant goals.

Problem-Solving:

Reallocating resources and solving operational issues to ensure smooth shift operations.

Profitability:

Supporting the restaurant's financial goals by driving sales and managing costs effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
