Duties
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly and attentive approach.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
Assist in the organisation of kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock rotation.
Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Perform basic math calculations for order processing and till operations.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
A basic understanding of food safety practices is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
