Position Overview
The role provides an opportunity to work within the product development and strategy team, supporting the wider team in maintaining the pipeline of product development & governance initiatives. The role will also provide exposure to sales and investment teams, through the development and analysis of peer reviews and strategic comparisons.
The Product Development team is responsible for overseeing the launches of new products and managing and evaluating the success of live products. Developing strong relationships with sales teams, investment teams, and the operations platform is vital for success in this role due to its collaborative nature.
Note that this is a 2-month internship, with no guarantee of a full-time role.
Primary ResponsibilitiesConducting market research and assisting the team on appropriate business strategies and new product analysis.
Providing essential administrative support to the Product Development team, in helping to compile reviews and analysis of the wider market and internal capabilities.
Working on new product launches and coordinating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure products are brought to market efficiently.
Liaising and collaborating with colleagues in Portfolio Management, Client Coverage, Operations and Legal teams for product deliverables.
Aiding in prospective client-related presentations, including but not limited to peer comparisons and request for proposals. Ensure all activity follows the regulatory framework.
QualificationsWorking towards an undergraduate degree or recently graduated - reading finance / economics, or a related subject.
Key RequirementsA strong interest in asset management, financial services, and financial markets.
Numerate, with a good working knowledge of both Excel & PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail is critical, along with the ability to communicate effectively.
We will consider candidates with experience / reading in other roles and areas of financial services. Direct experience isn't necessary.
