Job Description
We have opportunities for experienced 7.5 tonne Drivers to join our Transport team based at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery.
You will be delivering Birds' freshly made produce to our shops and returning empty racks and cabinets to the Bakery.
Duties to include:
Load / unload vehicles; manual handling of rolling equipment and no hand balling involved. Ensure vehicle loads are safe and secured with the appropriate restraints as per Company procedures / Safe Systems of Work. Perform daily vehicle defect checks and log as necessary.
The role is part time on Sunday from 4am to 11.30am to support our existing operation, with possible additional hours to cover for holiday/sickness.
Applicants will ideally have a good knowledge of the local area but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
Applicants must be of smart appearance, hold a C1 Licence, valid CPC Driver Qualification Card, Digi-Card and have a clean driving licence.
Hours: 7 hours per week
Rate 14.49 per hour
