Summary
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic part-time Barista to join our team at The Art House. Based in Eastbourne this role is vital to delivering exceptional service and supporting our creative events and activities.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Assist in food preparation when needed.
Manage time effectively during busy periods.
Support the setup and breakdown of events and classes.
Ensure the cafe environment is welcoming and organized.
Collaborate with team members to deliver a memorable experience for all visitors.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience as a barista or in a similar role.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong time management abilities.
Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including evenings as will include one evening a week .
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Experience supporting event setups is a plus.
Over 18 as serving alcohol
Cocktail making experience useful but not essential
Art background useful but not essential
