Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and passionate Kitchen Porter to join our catering team for a busy service on Sundays during Term Time.

Experience & Background



No experience is necessary as full training is given An NVQ Level 1 in Catering or a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful but not essential.
High personal hygiene standards and a smart and tidy appearance is imperative to this role.

Duties



You will be responsible for:

maintaining high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the school kitchens providing support to the Catering Department through the preparation and servicing of the dining room assisting with basic food preparation ensuring all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are kept clean and in good working order and reporting any faults maintaining the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations Washing up

Hours of Work



Term time only: 33 x Sundays per year.

The hours of work will be 9:00 - 18:30 (inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid break).

Salary



14.07 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
