Our core services include

  • Employment litigation - discrimination, whistleblowing claims, actions for breach of contract, boardroom disputes, enforcement of restraints
  • Diversity and inclusion (D&I) - advising clients on a whole range of issues relating to D&I, including advanced policies, visualising data and training.
  • Corporate support - acquisition and disposal advice
  • Data protection - compliance and data protection issues - including email monitoring and subject access requests
  • Employment documentation - drafting contracts, offer letters, policies and procedures, confidentiality clauses, handbooks, restrictive covenants and IP protection
  • Executive and employee termination advice
  • International support - standardising employment law matters across jurisdictions - including advice on workforce mobility, employment bodies, secondments and harmonising documentation
  • Outsourcing - practical and legal issue advice
  • Restructuring and change management - including the planning and implementation of collective redundancies, changing terms and conditions and negotiation of collective agreements
  • Union work - advice on industrial action, change of terms, applications for recognition, ongoing processes and disciplinary and grievance procedures
The role

We are seeking a mid level Associate with excellent experience to join our market leading Employment practice. A variety of contentious and non-contentious work is on offer, with the opportunity to work for all of the partners in the group as well as with the employment groups across our international offices. An entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to take on significant responsibility is essential, with an interest in international employment issues advantageous.

Person specification
  • A minimum of 3-6 years\' post qualification experience which will have been gained at another leading City or regional practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment law and ability to advise practically.
  • High quality drafting skills.
  • Strong client focus with flexibility and an ability and willingness to get actively involved in training, marketing and business development.
  • Commercially driven with good project management skills.
  • Able to work effectively and independently as part of a diverse and inclusive, high quality team.
  • Experience in leading matters and taking responsibility for delivery of high quality work product.
