Overview

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join our Litigation Team, specialising in defending litigated motor claims on behalf of large corporates.

How you'll make an impact

Defend litigated motor claims, including personal injury, property damage, credit hire, LVI, and fraud, from issue to trial. Assess liability and set/maintain reserves in line with client service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs). Investigate the merits of third-party claims. Conduct telephone and correspondence negotiations with third parties, insurers, and solicitors to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Value General and Special Damages accurately. Apply the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant authorities to secure optimal client outcomes. Ensure compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and KPIs on all handled claims. Maintain 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system. Support the litigation team in achieving full compliance with protocols and KPIs. Delegate and supervise tasks for Claims Administration Assistants. Ensure full compliance with financial transactions in line with client agreements, KPIs, and the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Act as a technical and procedural supervision point for other team members.

About You

Qualified Solicitor. Experience in defence claims handling within an insurer or TPA environment. Demonstrable self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently within a defined structure. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with peers and managers. Eligible to work in the UK
