Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team in providing exceptional guest services in our new Italian restaurant environment. As a Waitress or Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during preparation and service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing help where needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Familiarity with food preparation processes and food safety regulations is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling bills and processing payments effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
