We are looking for an experienced and efficient individual to join us as a Supervisor of our Front Of House team at our Gwydir Street Cafe . As a Cafe Supervisor, you will work cohesively with staff and be responsible for directing and delegating tasks to ensure the Company's key goals are maintained. This includes delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cafe cleanliness, and being knowledgeable about specialty coffee. You will lead by example, always upholding high standards across all your responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Managers for daily cafe operations.
Serve as the point of contact in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager.
Motivate the front-of-house team and ensure high customer service standards.
Manage store opening and closing, ensuring completion of tasks.
Collaborate and have input on trial shifts for potential new staff and provide feedback to the Manager.
Expertly prepare a variety of drinks, engage with customers about available coffees, and maintain coffee knowledge.
Ensure efficient stock control, order placement, and proper storage.
In collaboration with the Cafe Manager and Assistant Manager, organise time on shift to ensure daily and weekly cleaning tasks are thoroughly carried out and the store maintains a high standard of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene.
Carry out other duties on a regular or ad hoc basis as required or directed by the Management team.

Hours and work schedule
Our full-time contracts are designed to offer a balanced work-life experience, with a standard of 32 hours per week.
