The Jolly Sailor is looking for a new supervisor to join the team!

The Jolly Sailor is a busy wet-led pub on Hanham High Street. We're looking for an experienced supervisor ready to jump into a new project, but we will consider applications from strong FOH candidates who are looking for a step up in responsibility. Experience running a busy shift, nightly cash ups and cellar management are strongly preferred, although a friendly and outgoing personality is the most important factor!

We're looking for...

A passionate person who's focus is on offering excellent customer service at all times whether at the table or across the bar. Someone with plenty of experience working in a busy pub with knowledge of your way around a basic cocktail list, and the basics of wines, spirits and beer. Proven experience running shifts is 100% essential for the supervisor role, and a keen interest in food and drinks and the desire to learn more about what we do and be passionate about our product. Confidence handling cash and being responsible for daily tasks, as well as managing the team in the absence of the General and Assistant managers.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to learn more about the industry and take on a progressive management role in an independent but supportive business.

We're looking for someone with flexibility in part time work. The shifts would be mostly evenings and weekends but it is a fair rota and we try to get everyone on some day shifts with some time off at the weekend.
