We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic environment. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding staff to deliver exceptional service in our restaurant or hotel setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food safety, cooking techniques, and best practices. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with management to develop menus and ensure quality control of all food items. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Address any issues or concerns that arise during service to ensure smooth operations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and guests alike. A passion for food production and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 47 per week
