At Sky Livingston we provide all catering facilities within 2 on site restaurants, looking after up to 1000 Sky colleagues daily, providing a fresh premium food and drink offer. We require a friendly, self motivated and organised person to join our current team and assist the Restaurant Manager in the day to day running of the operation. Previous experience of supervising, managing and motivating a team is essential.

Job Purpose

To support the manager in delivering quality service across the unit

To ensure a strong relationship is kept with client & customers

To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service

To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided

To communicate effectively with your manager and team

Key responsibilities and accountabilities Food and Service Development

Coordinate the entire operation of the catering unit during scheduled shifts.

Meet and greet customers and be a presence in the unit.

Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered in line with the Baxter Storey brand.

Brief all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.

Continually monitor the service and food provided in the restaurant, give feedback to the chefs/ service team and to ensure the food and service is of the highest quality.

Check stock levels and order supplies.

Assist in any area of the catering unit when circumstances dictate.

Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment

Configuring counter & display spaces to make them attractive

Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team

Assisting with administrative duties as required.

Customer Service
Present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers at the relevant site.

Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful and friendly manner providing assistance where necessary in line with the Baxter Storey style.

Provide information to customers about the food and make recommendations.

Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer service.

To accurately and efficiently handle all transactions and to assist with cashing up procedures in line with Baxter Storey standards.

Health & Safety
To understand and comply with Baxter Storey and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance these standards.

Wear the correct uniform and safety shoes as directed and maintain uniform items appropriately.

Report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health and safety hazard to the GM/ AGM.
