Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining high standards of warehouse management. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of logistics practices, including transportation management systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate picking and packing of orders. Oversee materials handling processes to ensure safety and efficiency within the warehouse. Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding logistics operations. Train and mentor staff on logistics procedures, including forklift operation and safety protocols. Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role is essential. Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Strong data analysis skills to assess performance metrics and drive operational improvements. Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements. Knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment operation, particularly forklifts. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
This role is Monday to Friday, 7am until 6pm, 52.5 hours per week.
