We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Supervisor at our new opening, Mare Street Market King's Cross. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and leading a team of dedicated staff members.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of the bar and restaurant, including: managing the smooth running of service independently; opening and closing procedures; ensuring cleanliness; and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Provide exemplary customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality service, uphold company standards and act as an example of exemplary staff conduct
Assist in inventory management, including stock ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing wastage.
Monitor and maintain beverage quality, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes and standards.
Handle card transactions accurately, reconcile daily sales and complete daily briefing reports
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for increasing revenue and enhancing the guest experience
Uphold a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork, respect, and maintaining staff well-being.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance issues promptly and following up to ensure resolution.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cocktail preparation, wine service, and menu offerings.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
Proven organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and a genuine interest in the food and beverage industry.
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or related field are desirable but not essential.
