Duties

Supervise kitchen staff and manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient workflow. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving for excellence in service delivery. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Experience

Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant or culinary setting is essential. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required. Experience as a barista or in food production roles is considered beneficial. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers alike.
