Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations in both South Prom Coffee Shop and The Harbour House Inn. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1yrs experience within a supervisory role, be able to work evening and weekend shifts and possess strong leadership skills along with a strong background in hospitality, particularly within the restaurant sector. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. Duties

Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Manage and train team members in food service, bartending, and hospitality best practices. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure that all staff adhere to hygiene standards. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality control. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership. Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff performance.

Skills

Proven experience in team management within the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels or restaurants. Strong knowledge of food production processes and food safety regulations. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead by example. Proficient in food preparation techniques and bartending practices. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both staff and customers.
