The Person
We are seeking an experienced supervisor to work within our leadership team to support the General Manager with the responsibility of our Soft Play Centre. They must be a highly motivated individual who demonstrates inspirational skills to engage people and customers at all levels. It is vital that they are a clear communicator who is professional and can provide an exceptional customer experience throughout.
Strong implementation skills and leading by example are key; as well as being able to demonstrate initiative and acceptance of accountability. The Supervisor will have the ability to keep a cool head under pressure, and lead the team smoothly through any challenges that may arise throughout the day.
The Role - Main responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and inspire the team to deliver the same exceptional standards.
Support the General Manager to manage individual and team performance and standards through continual review and communication.
Support the General Manager to manage all overheads, stock, team schedules, labour control and all other elements affecting the profitability of the business.
All cash handling, card transactions, banking and transaction/sales reporting.
Manage upkeep and condition of all equipment and premises ensuring prompt remedial action as required.
Ensure the correct and continual use of all company procedures, systems and documents.
Maintain a safe and harmonious working and customer environment and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety are adhered to.
Essential Criteria
Experience /Skills/Attributes
Supervisor/Management experience in a fast paced, customer focused Retail/Leisure/Hospitality/Catering sector.
An approachable and enthusiastic manner and a can-do attitude.
Computer literate and knowledge of working within a cash handling environment.
Be able to make decisions using your own initiative but involving relevant assistance where necessary.
Previous experience of working with extremely high standards in customer service, quality, hygiene and good knowledge of maintaining a focus on health and safety in the work place..
