The Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the planning and successful delivery of our projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations, supervising direct and subcontracted teams Ensuring Health, Safety, and Welfare standards are maintained in accordance with the Supervisors Health and Safety Responsibility Statement Implementing all company and client health, safety, and environmental initiatives Reporting and addressing any unsafe practices Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and best practices Leading, supervising, and utilising resources effectively to meet project goals Delivering projects on time and within budget, compliant with all relevant legislation, contract terms, and safety/environmental plans Ensuring quality standards are met first time, every time Monitoring progress and managing scope changes Maintaining accurate records (diaries, allocation sheets, plant logs) Providing regular progress reports to the Project Manager/Site Agent Escalating unresolved issues appropriately Identifying training needs for operational personnel

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Previous railway experience as a Supervisor in civils projects Valid PTS certification COSS SSSTS Demonstrable experience and competencies relevant to the rail industry A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in civil engineering
