Active Packaging have an opening for a supply chain administrator to join the supply chain team. The primary role of the supply chain co-ordinator is to support the smooth running of the supply chain through various administrative duties. This role will be based in Omagh to ensure easy communication with the local sales team.
The successful candidate will be a someone with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy and interested in commencing a role in the Logistics space
The successful candidate will also be responsible for some light admin duties across the wider Active/NPP team.
Supply Chain
Customs clearances for all Active & NPP dispatches using Custrans software. Training will be provided on the system.
Liaise with supply chain partners
Liaise with sales / goods inward team to advise of any issues from clearances.
Maintain database of all clearances completed.
Maintaining all relevant documents in accordance with company quality requirements.
Support Supply Chain Manager on price requests from key suppliers.
Work closely with the Head of the supply chain.
Logistics Responsibilities
Liaise with transport companies on incoming freight to ensure timely delivery while managing transportation costs.
Ensure we have delivery notes and mark off system when goods dispatch
Monitor flow of goods to completion.
Deal with any queries in relation to deliveries, POD requests, quantity queries for example.
Work closely with the wider logistics team in NPP.
Keep track of trial reels (incoming) and advising sales team of progress
General Administration/Support
Answer phones.
Manage post incoming and outgoing
Arrange couriers / Book hotels / Flights
