An exciting opportunity to join an award winning Biotechnology company and play a supporting role in day to day operational activities.

The Supply Chain and Customer Services Assistant plays a key supporting role in the day-to-day commercial and operational activities of Genesis Biosciences. The role sits at the interface between sales, supply chain, production, logistics partners, and customers, ensuring that customer orders are received, processed, and fulfilled accurately and on time.

The position is responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service, supporting sales activity, coordinating with third-party manufacturers (3PMs) and logistics providers, and ensuring clear and timely communication with customers regarding order status, lead times, and deliveries. In addition, the role provides operational, production, and office-based administrative support as required.

Key Responsibilities



Act as a point of contact for customers for order-related queries, providing timely and professional responses.

Receive, review, and accurately process customer purchase orders in line with agreed pricing, lead times, and contractual terms.

Enter and maintain customer orders within internal systems, ensuring accuracy of product codes, quantities, delivery addresses, and requested delivery dates.

Proactively communicate order acknowledgements, delivery timelines, and any changes or delays to customers.

Liaise with customers to resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, or service queries, escalating where appropriate.

Coordinate and send completed Sales Order packets to the Genesis Accounts team promptly, ensuring seamless and timely invoicing.

Liaise closely with third-party manufacturers (3PMs), warehouses, and logistics providers to coordinate dispatch of customer orders.

Monitor order progress from receipt through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and customers are kept informed.

Support the coordination of international and domestic shipments, including communication of lead times, shipment status, and delivery confirmations.

Assist with the preparation of shipping documentation where required (e.g. delivery notes, packing lists, export documentation).

Work with the Supply Chain Manager to help manage stock availability and ensure alignment between customer demand and inventory levels.

Act as a conduit between Sales and the Laboratory for the raising, tracking, and processing of TSRs (Technical Service Requests).

Assist with the dispatch of customer samples, including coordination with internal teams and preparation of supporting documentation.

Support internal audits and compliance activities in line with the Genesis Biosciences Quality Management System.

Co-ordinate with the QC department and suppliers to ensure the timely collection of QC samples

Answer incoming telephone calls and manage general enquiries, directing them to the appropriate team members where required.

Provide general office-based administrative support as needed to support the smooth operation of the business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-31,000.00 per year
