Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Chain Apprentice within our Materials Distribution Centre.

What You'll Be Doing:

You will gain practical experience with supply chain and logistics, including:

Global Product Coordination:

Active involvement in coordinating and controlling the distribution of RENOLIT UK Ltd products to our diverse global customer base.

Transport Arrangement:

Assist in arranging and scheduling transport requirements for various departments.

Customer Communication & Order Processing:

Work closely with our customer service team to ensure sales orders are correctly and timely released for both our domestic and international markets.

Operational Documentation:

Prepare and process essential documents such as pick notes and labels, and contribute to updating our daily loading plans.

Computer systems:

Use industry-standard systems, including SAP/COAGO, to confirm picks, accurately update stock records, and produce despatch notes.

Delivery Assurance:

Ensure our customers receive their deliveries on time and in full.

Freight Invoice Management:

Assisting with the checking and authorisation of freight invoices

In-Transit Issue Resolution:

Investigate and report on any issues that arise while goods are in transit.

Purchasing Administrative Support:

Provide valuable administrative assistance to our purchasing department, learning the process of converting purchasing requisitions into formal orders.
The successful candidate should be a highly organised team player, have excellent written and communication skills, be computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and have an interest in Supply Chain and Logistics.

A positive attitude and a friendly, confident, and approachable manner are essential.

The apprentice must be able to demonstrate the following required attitudes, behaviours, and interpersonal skills:

- Communicate effectively

- Work and interact effectively within a team.

- Work independently and proactively

- Excellent time management and ability to complete work to schedule.

- Ability to handle change and respond to change management processes in a positive manner.

- Demonstrate a can do attitude and willingness to operate flexibly to meet business demands.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 GCSEs at Grade 4 and above to include Mathematics and English

The successful applicant will complete a Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner qualification throughout their apprenticeship, which will be supported by Zenith Training.
