First Grade International Ltd is the UK based office for a Singaporean owned business with a reputation as a market leader in food ingredient importing/distribution globally. The Bulk Ingredient Department sources ingredients from around the world for distribution to the majority of the major food and drink manufacturers. We own the Koko Dairy Free brand which offers a range of Free From coconut based dairy alternatives to the Grocery and Health Food trade internationally. We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the administration of various aspects of the supply chain operations. This role is data driven therefore an eye for detail is essential. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training package.
Key tasks will include:
Inputting Purchase Orders on our internal database and dispatching Purchase Orders to a high level of accuracy aiming for getting it right first time.
Answering stakeholder queries on the telephone, via email and in person when in the office.
Working with warehouse and customers to ensure they have all the relevant information required.
Use Continuous Improvement tools whilst working with external and internal stakeholders to reduce non-conformances, reduce cost, improve efficiency and drive for Right First-Time outcomes
Assist the Supply Chain Manager with any tasks that may be required
You will have:
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
GCSEs grades A*- C/9-4 in Maths and English
Strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
A high standard of verbal and written communication.
Excellent numeracy skills.
An eye for detail
A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in Excel.
