Hours:

Part Time,

8.30 - 1.30pm Mon - Fri (4 days in office, 1 day working from home)

Salary: 22,000-23,300 per annum (based on experience)

Job Brief

We are seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to provide frontline support to customers regarding orders, deliveries and logistics issues. Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, this role is to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries and excellent customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction and supporting the end-to-end supply chain process.

Experience & Skills

Essential



Processing all UK Orders (Wine, Samples and POS ) before the cut off of 1pm, including preparing labels for specific orders

Processing all UK pro-forma orders, liaison with Accounts department for payment confirmations

Dealing with all UK delivery queries

Order acknowledgement and advising delivery dates to the customer via email

Checking order and delivery status on VCIS where required

Be the first point of contact with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face

First point of contact for the Lanson team relating to logistics and order enquiries ex London City Bond

Manage returns and goods in, liaison with London City Bond

Ongoing stock control of all on site samples

Ongoing processing of all UK sample requests and staff cases

General administrative tasks including online filing of orders

Maintenance of the LCB mis-pick, stock discrepancy spreadsheet

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

Desirable

Validating orders on AS400 (Application System/400)

London City Bond Stock control: Entry of the preliminary monthly Stock reconciliation book to book

Process FCA orders in absence of the Logistics Manager, enter details on the FCA Order tracker

Run the EDI process in the absence of the Logistics Manager

Provide codes and costs to LCB Goods in for Replenishment deliveries in absence of Logistics manager

Working knowledge of IBM AS400, SAP Web Intelligence, COFANET, EDI, and customer web portals.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

A positive, "can-do" attitude, with a willingness to support colleagues.

A team player with a good sense of humour.

Knowledge of wine and /or champagne industry
