Summary

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team based in our modern manufacturing facility, you will play a vital role in optimising our supply chain operations to ensure seamless production and delivery of our premium garage doors. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Raise purchase orders for all raw materials for the on-site production team, and GRP/timber for third party suppliers Accurately maintain and update stock inventory Manage and carry out periodic cycle counts Liaise and communicate with third party suppliers re. delivery of materials, quality, and paperwork; co-ordinate and initiate progress of deliveries, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders and departments when required Book collections from suppliers, e.g. imports Liaise with haulier and understand HMRC implications of importing Book in and reconcile all items delivered and follow through actions required for short deliveries Answer internal calls to the department and deal with queries where possible General day to day administrative duties as required

Personal Specifications

Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights. Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal departments. Knowledge of Garador Ltd and/or similar manufacturing environment is advantageous. Working knowledge of billing materials (BOM)
