The Opportunity
We are looking for one people to join our professional Shipping Team on a fixed term basis. The successful candidates will be numerate and confident handling many deadlines and queries at one time. They will have a high attention to detail and preferably administrative experience in a FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Coordinator is a pivotal role within the team and is responsible for the management and maintenance of all systems planning data and smooth expedition of replenishment order consignments into the 3rd Party Logistics operated warehouse.

This is a hands-on position demanding strong attention to detail and excellent communications with our global supplier base and 3rd party logistics partner.

Check and authorise purchase order confirmations and invoices for all replenishment consignments into the business. Monitor and expedite all inbound replenishment orders to ensure they arrive on-time, and both the Shipping and LCB (London City Bond) Receipting are prioritised according to business needs. Establish and maintain excellent communication and relationships with all suppliers. Ensure that all necessary documentation and customs paperwork relating to importation are available at source and accompany consignments into the UK. Check and update product and planning data within the central ERP system, liaise with suppliers and 3rd parties to obtain latest information where appropriate. Review and manage the planning system setup ensuring that the correct costs and planning parameters are reflected the database. Manage the Item card and Supplier data setup within the ERP and Planning systems. Ensure that the systems data is maintained to reflect new wine vintages on a timely basis. Liaise with appointed shippers and freight forwarders to ensure a smooth collection and transportation of wine shipments to the UK Distribution Centre. Support the Shipping Manager in service partner service review and tendering. Manage shipment discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to report and remedy damages, shortages, lateness. Managing operational queries from internal customers relating to the 3PL partner (London City Bond) managed London based Distribution Centre (DC).
Requirements

Attention to detail and numerical accuracy Strong Collaborative skills. Team player who actively contributes to the team's operation and development Analytical approach and strong problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 1-2 years' experience in an administrative role ideally in an FMCG or food/drinks environment. Good knowledge of MS Office and associated tools. Confident using excel Working knowledge of or exposure to ERP systems (ideally Bevica)
