you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods across our supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry specifications--particularly those relevant to oil and gas application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and logistics activities to support production schedules.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials, with a focus on oil and gas specifications.
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess and shortages.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material compatibility and specification compliance.
Track and report on supply chain KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
Support supplier qualification and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the supply chain.
Collecting and analyzing data to help predict market trends and forecast sales figures.
Identifying quality standards and ensuring that all products meet those standards.
Collating customer / supplier feedback.
Negotiating with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusivity deals.
Working with inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products.
Delivering reports on sales data, marketing activity and other metrics to the senior management team and other stakeholders.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
Proven experience in a supply chain or procurement role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of oil and gas component specifications and industry standards.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant degree or professional qualification in supply chain, logistics, or engineering (preferred).
