Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking Supply Chain Director to join a global food manufacturing business. This senior leadership position will influence the executive team.
- Develop and execute the global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing supply chain teams
- Oversee demand planning, supply planning, S&OP processes
- Ensure optimal inventory levels, service performance, and working capital management
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
- Develop supplier partnerships and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure ethical sourcing, compliance, and sustainability objectives
- Manage inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation networks
- Ensure high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance
- Partner with manufacturing leaders to optimise capacity, throughput, and cost
- Drive lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives
- Own supply chain budgets, cost control, and savings initiatives
