We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in logistics and inventory management. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in various ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle EBS, to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
Utilise data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present insights and support decision-making.
Implement process improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Kaizen, to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and develop actionable solutions.
Manage logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimising costs.
Maintain accurate records within ERP systems, specifically SAP ERP and Oracle EBS, to support inventory management.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and report findings to management.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles, with a strong understanding of ERP systems.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL for extracting insights from large datasets.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
