About the Role
As a Supply Chain Management Placement, you will play a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting the supply chain operations in our dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll gain hands-on experience in stock management, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects while working closely with teams across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing perpetual inventory for ingredients, packaging, and miscellaneous materials.
Conducting analysis and reconciliation of stock levels, ensuring accuracy.
Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
Regularly reviewing the accuracy of Bills of Materials.
Developing analytical reports for performance improvement.
Leading and contributing to inventory management improvement projects.
Collaborating with Warehouse, Technical, Quality, and Production teams.
Assisting with audits, stock checks, procurement, and planning activities.
Adhering to Health & Safety regulations, working in a safety-conscious manner.
Participating in the End of Year Stock Count.
What We're Looking For
Currently studying a degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management preferred, but all disciplines considered).
Able to partake in a placement year as part of your course.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
A proactive, 'can-do' mindset and excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office software.
