Due to an exciting period of growth, Kenny Waste Management are looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager. We are looking for candidates who have strong management skills, are great communicators and are excellent at building rapport with suppliers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of all elements of the National Division's Supply Chain to increase profitability whilst maintaining a competitive edge with the company's offer versus the competition. This role would suit a candidate who has experience of working within either the waste industry, construction, or plant hire.

Job Duties:
Review all existing waste partner relationships/agreements in the National Division to identify key areas for improvements in quality, efficiency and price
Implement new or improved supply chain processes
Review all current pricing structures, and identify opportunities to negotiate price reductions based upon increased purchasing volumes
Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality
Monitor overall supplier performance to assess ability to make sure they meet set targets
Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes
Plan the annual price increase negotiations
Assist the National Sales Team with tender opportunities
Create pricing models, rebates etc. around the working relationship i.e. enhance the service level agreement between Kenny Waste and our waste partners
Review current payment terms from key suppliers
Develop and implement a new PQQ and SLA for our waste partners and ensure all new and existing waste partners sign up to the new PQQ/SLA once finalised
Alongside the Sales Ledger Manager, identify the waste partners who are not providing the appropriate waste reporting data, and implement a strategy to gather the required data
Identify and implement processes to help the National Division maintain and improve its pricing opportunities, including recommendations for speeding up its ability to quote customers.
Make recommendations to minimise wastage in the supply chain such as ordering/delivery of incorrect material and wasted journeys etc. and sure these are communicated and approved with our waste partners/customers
Make recommendations of key sectors/prospects the National Division Sales Team should be targeting
Assist with the implementation of a telesales function into the company's newly formed customer service environment
Identify and make recommendations which can add value and increase profitability for the business

Proven experience of meeting targets
Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain management at a senior level
