Your impact




Supply Chain Sector Lead will report to the VP Procurement RATS for operational activity, with process and governance being managed by the Head of Supply Chain (Edinburgh). Main duties will be to ensure that any non commercial issues relating to production part material supply are managed in accordance with MRP need date, minimising the impact to sales output. To achieve this, you will coordinate and manage multi Function involvement best suited to solving the problem(s) at hand, ensuring responsibility and accountability is understood and ensuring and all output related actions are clear in terms of action and ownership and are time bound. Other key responsibilities will be attending key Project meetings relating to your designated Sector and ensuring the associated KPI metrics of the role are managed and reported effectively. Although Custom Working will relate to this role, it is envisaged the role will require a minimum of 2-3 days onsite attendance.

What you'll bring



Develop appropriate relationships and act as the lead Interface with Procurement Acquisition leads/managers, and LOB IPT's to understand material issues and ensure closure is in line with MRP requirements Manage Supplier / Project Joint Action Plans (JAP's) and ensure these are discussed at IPT Supply Reviews so actions are allocated, understand and time bound. Produce appropriate reporting metrics and escalations. Understand the SC reporting tools (i.e. 3SR, CSR, revenue forecasting, de-commit and DPP). Attend 30-60-90 day reporting at LOB Supply Reviews for SC owned material. Escalate JAPs and all functional dependencies Be actively involved in any Procurement owned Supplier CSIP's that may impact material supply. Promote a culture of Best Practice in Material Supply sharing knowledge within the function and within the wider business. Manage and mentor Material leads Support management of obsolete material and proposed LTB's & LLTs to ensure seamless material supply transition in line with MRP requirements. Input & attend LOB Supplier RBR's where necessary. Support the MRB/FRB process, ensuring all external material supply information is flowed and is a conduit into execution team and JAP's (where relevant). Ensure that Procurement are made aware of any commercial / contracting implications associated with material supply issues. Attend and manage the LOB SRBs, CARs, DCP processes within the sector ensuring SC visibility. Manage a team of Material Leads and ensure progression and succession.
