Summary
We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in optimising our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient inventory management that aligns with our company's mission and values. You will help streamline operations and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Updating FBA lead times for stock sent to FBA depending on seasonal changes
Constantly updating processes to make the FBA department more efficient
Creating seasonal shipments, for example, Back to School dedicated shipments
Building the master sheets and determining data points to send accurate quantities
Daily liaising with the WH to solve problems
Liaising with third-party companies to coordinate shipments
Developing systems to create containers, from the FBA office to the WH processes
Constantly discussing with the WH ideas to streamline processes, for example, most recently updating the AWD process for STAR labels per the LW list. Creating and proofreading WH and FBA processes, for example, the Shop Preparation Process
Tracking imports and exports and booking in on CSV test and LW
Processes Implemented use of Wizard Industries to create USA Shipments
By implementing this system, we save on the Amazon-imposed placement fees
Shipments do not have to be approved on Amazon, saving time on the end process
Box labels printed in the packing stage are suitable to be sent to Amazon, saving time on the end process
Locations are determined before the plan is picked/packed, which is not possible without the API
Changes can be made on the system to SKUs/Units to create the cost-effective splits possible
The use of Wizard Industries to create AWD Shipments
STAR labels are available to be printed before the plan is packed, allowing packers to stick the labels during this process, saving time and reducing sticking mistakes
SKUs and units can be uploaded in bulk, saving time for the office on the upload (on Amazon, it needs to be uploaded SKU by SKU)
Management and Regulation of FBA
Implemented the commercial invoice board on Monday.com to track the progress of current shipments, moving through the stages from completing packing, to approval, to CSV test, to commercial invoices, to being shipped
Implemented the FBA calendar on Monday.com to allow a streamlined process between the office and the WH to keep the WH up to date on
Shop WH and Office
Set up and implemented the process for SHOP on the office side, including templates and Monday.com boards for tracking
Taught management the SHOP office processes so they could take over the office side for future uploads
Implement in New Job Role: FBA and WH Processes
Update the goods in process for maximum efficiency
Tailor FBA processes depending on the marketplace and the type of plan, reintroduce pick by WH for efficiency
Create SOPs for FBA processes for differing plans
Create and implement new USA processes to make the pick more efficient, work with Wizard industries on this front
FBA and Trading Processes
Streamlining communication between Trading and FBA for more improved systems
Updating how the watchlist is structured
Implementing routines and processes in the FBA office to ensure that Trading is kept up to date on broken SKUs and the send/projection of new products
FBA and Buying Processes
Implementing processes to increase communication between FBA and Buying
Providing Buying with FBA data and information so they have increased data to make more informed decisions
Comparing Buying projections to FBA to see alignment and what potential changes are needed
Adjusting the send based on FBA and Buying projections
