Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching physical education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students. In addition to supply teaching, there may also be opportunity to work within our internal alternative provision, based across different areas of the North East.

Duties



Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that meets the needs of all students. Teach a variety of physical activities, including sports, fitness exercises, and health education. Adapt lessons for students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring inclusivity in all activities. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Engage in mentoring and tutoring to support individual student needs. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices. Ability to adapt to a variety of educational settings.

Qualifications



A recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: 130.00-190.00 per day

Work Location: In person
