Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. This role involves teaching various science subjects to students of various ages and abilities. The Science Teacher will also be responsible for adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate students with additional needs. Provide tutoring and mentoring support to students who require additional assistance. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in science education. Foster an appreciation for science.

Skills

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey scientific concepts. Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable. Ability to mentor and tutor students, providing personalised support as needed. A genuine passion for science education and a commitment to nurturing student curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject matter.
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: 130.00-190.00 per day
