We are hiring an Administrator at Target Housing to support our growing support services.

Working hours are generally 9am till 5pm with a 20-minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary:

25,553 per annum



You will get an initial 28 days Annual Leave with an additional day a year up to 33 days leave, PLUS 8 Bank Holidays.

Main Purpose





Provide admin support to ensure the efficient functioning of Target support projects.



Collate and analyze invoices and payment schedules, ensuring discrepancies are highlighted and resolved directly with the purchaser. Monitor income and expenditure for projects within scope and produce financial reports relating to these. Be a point of contact for referring agencies and people we support and provide regular feedback and updates. Respond to all telephone queries & enquiries, take messages, update colleagues and others accordingly. Record relevant information in databases and produce reports from the database as required. Liaise closely with external agencies and stakeholders. Develop an approach to signposting individuals to other housing providers. Develop a rapport and professional relationship with those providers. Ensure all correspondence is consistent and uniform and produced to a high professional standard. Follow equality of opportunity approach to managing accommodation waiting lists ensuring Fair Access Policy is followed. To attend meetings, act as a note taker and produce minutes with actions. Complete quarterly monitoring returns as required by your line manager. Any other duties deemed as appropriate and agreed with your line Manager Assist with office duties as directed and day-to-day office functioning. Take responsibility for ensuring all electrical, technical equipment and components are fully functioning and liaise with external IT Support Service.




Person Specifications



Excellent numeracy skills.



Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems.



Understanding of budget management, income and expenditure and forecasting.



Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal.



Experience in office administration.



Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people.



Ability to establish and maintain effective strategic relationships.



Ability to demonstrate a level of flexibility in order to respond to demands and timescales.



Ability to work as part of a team to contribute to set objectives.



Willingness to undertake further training and development as necessary.
