Support Assistant - Inclusive Learning (Northampton)

Are you a compassionate and proactive individual looking to make a meaningful impact in education? A well-established special needs school in Northampton is seeking a committed Support Assistant to join their team, working with pupils aged 4-19 who face a range of learning challenges including Autism, PMLD, and SLD.
No previous experience is required -- just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Full training will be provided.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Delivering personalised support to pupils during lessons and activities
Assisting teachers with tailored learning plans and classroom routines
Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
Supporting pupils during transitions, play, and enrichment sessions
Helping maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning space

Is caring, patient, and eager to learn

Works well in a team and communicates effectively
Is reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference
Experience in education or care is a bonus -- but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
