Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in a care home or home care setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support clients in adhering to individualised care plans tailored to their needs Facilitate social activities and encourage engagement to promote mental and emotional well-being Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and colleagues to deliver consistent support Drive clients safely to appointments or outings as required Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external agencies using clear and professional language

Requirements

Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients safely as part of the role Experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and communication Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' well-being Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or requirements as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
